Job Description

Our client based in the Cwmbran area is looking for a permanent Solderer/ Machine Operator.

Background and experience:

o 2 years experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
o Pick and place line setup and run experience
o Good soldering and inspection skills would be an advantage
o Mechanical assembly experience would be an advantage
o IPC 610 Trained

Key Tasks:

Day to day

o Operating Production Equipment(Solder printer, Pick and Place, AOI etc)
o Soldering Components into PCB's(Through hole)
o SMT Rework Soldering and Inspection
o Mechanical assembly of units
o Packing
o General production duties


Hours of Work: Rotating Shifts, One week of Days and one week of Evenings:

Days: Mon to Thurs 6.00am to 3.00pm
Fri 6.00am to 10.30pm.

Evenings: Mon to Thurs 1.00pm to 10.00pm
Fri 10.30am to 3.00pm.
