Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a local government body based in North West London who are looking for a Solutions Architect to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

Please Note: To be considered for this role you must have been in the UK within the last 5 years consecutively, and not have spent longer than 6 months overseas within that time.

Salary: £60,957

Responsibilities:
- Design and communicate high level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions
- Demonstrate that solutions fit the agreed requirements e.g. automation of business processes
- The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible

Requirements:
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills
- Good communication with officers and staff of all levels
- Educated to degree level in a specific IT or engineering discipline or equivalent
- Able to translate technical requirements into business language
- Able to work with UK public safety organisations
- Extensive expertise in enterprise design and implementation of corporate networks
- Good knowledge of front and back office system solutions and their integration
- Knowledge of the application of emerging technologies to business solutions
- Some knowledge of information security practice and procedure, government knowledge is an advantage

Technical Skills:
- Cloud and Virtualised Solutions including SAAS
- MS Office 365 and associated products
- Service Oriented Architecture
- TOGAF ­ Level 3: Extensive Experience
- Micro-service and digital architectures
- General Networking and End User Technologies
