Specialist Case Manger - Mental Health / Domestic Violence

Location: Birmingham

Full time hours - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Hourly rate: £15 hour

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Case Manager within an established charitable organisation! This is a brand new role that has been created to provide mental health interventions to support the service user to embark on their recovery journey, and to then safely introduce domestic abuse intervention alongside ongoing mental health support to meet the dual need.

You will work with a caseload of domestic abuse perpetrators and victims to support with issues relating to housing, finances and employment, as well as carrying out behavioural change work to address any deeper issues and equip service users with coping skills.

The role will involve a mixture of home and office working, and the hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Due to funding this will initially be a 9 month position, but may be extended if successful.

To be suitable for this role, you must have experience in both mental health and domestic violence and will ideally hold a minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Mental Health, Social Care, Counselling.
