We have a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Clinical Psychologist to oversee assessment and treatments for young adults across the Cheshire area.

As the Specialist Clinical Psychologist your key responsibilities will be to provide clinical psychological assessment and treatment to clients with severe and enduring mental health disorders including but not exclusively clients with emotionally unstable personality disorder, complex trauma and eating disorders. Work within and contribute to the therapeutic service model. Provide specialist support, guidance and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers and you will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must hold Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including two or more distinct psychological therapies. Current registration with HCPC Minimum of twelve months post qualification experience and experience of specialist psychological assessment, treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including at least six months clinical experience working in child and adolescent mental health.
