I am currently recruiting on behalf of a charity based in Birmingham City Centre for Specialist Customer Service Advisors to join their team.
The purpose of your role is to offer advice and support to customers in difficult situations via the telephone and electronic and written channels.
This is a permanent role to start Monday 20th May 2019.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build empathy and trust with clients, and be resilient to deal with the variety of callers, with good data entry skills; you will be able to work on your own initiative aswell as part of a team. You will be handling a significant number of calls per day and must maintain an excellent standard of client care at all times.
My client expects a high level of professionalism and customer service focus as well as a dedication to learning inside and outside the workplace.
*Please note* The first 12 weeks in this role will involve intensive classroom training, therefore annual leave should not be taken during this time. Salary will be increased to £29,947 after successful completion of assessments.
To be considered for this role you must come from a Senior Customer Service Background, ideally from a complaints/advice/support/Resolution role for 4+ years.
Knowledge of debt advice practices would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be given.
Starting salary offered £21,249 pa after 12 weeks of training will increase to £29,947 pa

You will need to be flexible and able to work shifts covering full time hours of 35 hours per week between 9.00 am and 8.00 pm Monday to Friday, with rota`d Saturday working (c. 1 in 4) between 9.30 am and 1.00 pm.
