Job Description

Please be aware before applying for this role that you MUST have examples of Stock & Inventory Co-Ordinator within the furniture industry.

Do you have experience in meeting cost control and savings requirements set out for budget? Do you previous stock control and purchasing experience?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Working at the client`s head office in the Liverpool city centre, you will be expected to administer and manage all stock across this and additional sites, minimising stock and the costs of holding stock, while ensuring that there is sufficient stocks to meet customer lead times.

A competitive basic salary of £25,376 per annum.

Working hours of Mon-Fri 08:45-16:45 (please note any successful candidate may be required to work additional weekend shifts when required to do so ie stock takes, audits etc.)

Overtime available - please note this would apply to above in any required weekend work for audits and stock take purposes.

Free on site car parking facilities and local public transport links (within walking distance)

Day to day duties in this role include:

Manage availability of stock across all site warehouses to satisfy customer demand and lead times using Microsoft GP and internal processes

Daily ordering of stock from suppliers for all warehouses within agreed lead times and at the correct and agreed prices

Actively manage any redundant or slow moving stock on a monthly basis and work with the Buyer and Sales Team to move stock on correctly

Compile with all ISO9001 requirements at all times and play an active role in both internal and external audits

In order to apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

Aware of ISO9001 regulations or other quality management systems.

Previous experience of stock control or purchasing.

Flexible to work weekends as and when required - although this isn`t a monthly requirement, you must be flexible and available to work weekends to suit the business needs.
