A well-established Halifax based client are currently looking for a Stock Coordinator to join their team.
You'll be working as part of a multi-skilled team of five across Logistics and Stores, ensuring all stock is managed and utilised effectively.
A day in the life of the role will include:
Receiving and Scheduling Works orders, checking through the stock system and ensuring you're scheduling works in a methodical and cost effective manner. Calculating material requirements and utilising materials efficiently and logically.
You'll also input purchase orders on to the system, controlling and monitoring these until they're ready for dispatch and delivery to customers.
We're looking for someone with a logic mind, keen to problem solve and make cost effective decisions.
Booking incoming stock on to the system and ensuring the warehouse is organised. This will include manual handling of stock when required, so you need to be willing to be hands on.
Carrying out regular stock checks, ensuring the warehouse is in order, ordering additional stock from other sites when required and ensuring stock is replenished where required.
We're looking for a candidate with previous experience within a stock and stores environment. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail and have a 'hands on', 'sleeves rolled up' attitude to working.
Experience with SAP or any MRP software is highly desired!
