Job Description

Our Client who are very successful and have stores throughout the UK are now looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join their friendly team based in the Cheadle area of Stockport.

You will organise work and makes decisions, provide advice and support to others, and set and review tasks to ensure business objectives are achieved. If you are someone who maintains a positive approach and can demonstrate this whilst working alongside and developing others this is the job for you.

You will maximise sales at every opportunity through promoting the products and services available, ensuring consistency of performance throughout the team.

Due to the stores product`s you will have awareness of competitor activity and you will actively propose and support promotions in store.Other duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store, conducting regular maintenance checks and complying with Health and Safety and security procedures and accurately complete all store administration - assisting with weekly and monthly tasks and ensuring all Company standards are consistently achieved.

If you have previous proven management or team leader retail experience, are well presented and you are looking for a permanent position with a great team then look no further.
