Brook Street is working with our client in Mallusk to recruit an experienced Store Supervisor

To be considered for this role you must be flexible Monday - Sunday to work shifts between 04:45am - 11pm

The role of supervisor is to assist in the day to day overall running of a store and maximising the company brand and sales, which will involve delivery of the following duties:

* Delivery of excellent customer service and maintaining high standards within the store
* Development and driving forward certain categories in store
* Identifying opportunities to increase sales
* Ensuring the store adheres to Health & Safety and Environmental Health Standards.
* Completing sales and costs reports as and when required
* Ensuring orders are accurate and submitted on time
* Preparing staff rota`s
* Staff Supervision, including conducting Return to Work Interviews, Staff Investigations and ensuring full compliance to the Company`s employment policies.
* Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager

CRITERIA:

Essential:

* Recent experience in a busy convenience or supermarket retailing at key colleague in a sales-based environment with some experience of margin
* Excellent attention to detail in store standards
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Desirable:

* Good working knowledge of all fresh food areas and an ability to support in maintaining an exceptionally high standard of operational efficiency throughout the store
* Proven experience in the areas of stock control, people skills, cost control, rota planning, HACCP implementation.
* Further education in related discipline i.e. retail or business
* Experience gained in food retail
* Management or Supervisory qualification
* Fresh food operation i.e. bakery, FTG, Deli, provisions, and coffee

Salary will depend on background and will be disclosed at interview
