Brook Street are excited to announce that an opportunity has arisen with a National company based in Gateshead who are looking for a Stores Operative to work in the warehouse within the Supply Chain department.

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am -7pm with a salary of £20843.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a fast paced, pressurized Supply Chain environment and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in recognising and meeting contractual service levels.

You will be operating a stock management and parts driven system, booking orders in and stock taking, Ideally you will have a Fork Lift Truck licence, however this is not essential as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have a confident, positive attitude and be a strong team player, be extremely customer focused and able meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.
You must be familiar with using mechanical handling machinery and be aware of modern warehouse management techniques.
