Brook Street Leicester are recruiting for up to 6 candidates to join a local emergency service unit in Leicester, based in my client's Evidential property team on a 6 month temporary contract.

The purpose of these roles is the assist with the transfer of stock from their current site to the new location.

Other duties include ensuring the efficient and effective storage, review and disposal of all items of property in accordance with Force Policies and Procedures and provide a high quality of service to internal and external customers, whilst maintaining confidentiality always.

Candidates must come from some storage background and have in depth knowledge of stock control and audit process, they must also have good IT skills to be able to cross reference internal computer systems. Ideally candidates will have experience of working within the police force and have knowledge of the evidential property procedures. Alternatively my client would be interested in seeing candidates that have worked within a Library, museums, hospitals or anywhere secured stock is kept.

Candidates must have a clear criminal record and have a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

This role is working 37 hours per week with flexible working hours between 08.00 - 18.00, the hourly rate of pay is £10.43 per house.

Please note due to the extensive vetting required, there is a 4-6 week wait between being offered and starting in the role.
