Brook Street is seeking a Student Community Research Intern to work with a well-known and respected employee-owned business in Alness.

This exciting internship will suit an undergraduate or postgraduate student who is passionate about building and developing community, and who is eager to gain business experience.

The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a creative and flexible approach, logical thinking, and the ability to manage your own time. This part-time opportunity will involve working two to three days from home as well as occasional site visits.

Scope
Research and contact a wide range of local community groups including but not limited to schools, charities and volunteer groups.
Research and report on the different levels of financial assistance required by local community groups.
Create a voluntary community programme, including a recommended events schedule based on your research findings.
Utilise your research findings to assist with the creation of a brand new community strategy.
