Job Description

Supervising Social Worker
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (M-F) plus on call responsibilities
LOCATION: Home based - South Central Region
SALARY: Up to £40,000 depending on experience


I am currently seeking a Supervising Social Workers to join the well-established team in the South Central Region (Hampshire and Dorset including Portsmouth and Blacknell areas) to cover the individual county.
The key responsibility of the role is to support the development of the service including the recruitment, development and retention of foster carers in a specified geographical area; and to ensure a high-quality service is consistently delivered to children, foster carers and local authorities.

The applicant should have qualified in a recognised social work degree that is approved by Social Work England and will be both registered and work in line with the professional standards, ethics and values of this governing body. The successful applicants will have a caseload of 10. Some face-to-face meetings are required at the regional office based outside of Taunton.

My clients focus is to achieve positive experiences for the children and young people looked after by our dedicated foster carers. They have built strong relationships with Local Authorities across the UK to provide a range of exceptional children`s services delivered by a team of motivated, highly competent practitioners.
