Higher Executive Officer (HEO) - Central Government

Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to central government and the public sector to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for departments across the UK.
If you're a skilled administrator looking for a step-up, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a local government department for a Higher Executive Officer (HEO) in (London). This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working (insert work days/hours/shifts) and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
This role is to support the International Coordination & Development Team in delivering their day to day business through:
" Evaluate potential supplier roles in accordance with business needs and together with Commercial Directorate use developed and agreed criteria to prepare statements of requirements for business to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement.
" Monitor and report on the performance of business suppliers to ensure delivery is in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics
" Manage outward communication to suppliers to facilitate understanding and awareness of organisational strategic direction, changes and challenges
" Manage the interaction between suppliers and business administration and management in terms of documentation and reporting.
" Manage program delivery relationship for internal leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
" Liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary
Typical qualifications and experience required:
" Experience working with sensitive government work
" Experience working in a programme management office
" Experience working with challenging stakeholders
" Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) qualification in Procurement & Management Support, Supply Management or Supplier Relationship Management or equivalent.
