Job Title: Supply Chain Administrator
Type: Temp 3 Month
Job Role of Supply Chain Administrator:
The post holder is responsible for providing support (tactical fulfilment) to the Supply Chain Team in aid of procurement of products and services in support of operational requirements in compliance with business and third-party mandatory standards. We are looking for an experienced adminstrator to join their busy team.
- Continuous communication with suppliers using both phone and email functions. Initial order planning and acknowledgement, tracking, shipping discrepancies, invoice errors, quality issues and inbound freight management
- Responsible for all system transactions to execute purchasing transactions: order requirement, scheduling and placement
- Manage supplier order book, and utilise daily, weekly and monthly reporting to optimise inventory investment
- Communicate with the Supply Chain team and other departments, and communicate with suppliers as required to build and maintain a strong relationship to aid resolving service, delivery and other issues
Desired Experiences for Supply Chain Planner:
The right candidate would need to have previous supply chain experience or experience in an administrative role
Driving License not essential but preferred
Fantastic telephone manner and a very high standard of communication skills
Recognise the importance of health and safety, and ensure working conditions and the use of resources are inline with standard practices
