A well established global company based in Abingdon are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to join their team on a long-term permanent basis.
As the team`s Supply Chain Assistant you will be responsible for purchasing stock and maintaining the inventory for the company by taking receipt of products, allocating stock as well as creating stock items on the inventory system. You will need to regularly liaise with suppliers and internal teams therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
To be considered for this position you need to have strong IT skills, experience working in a fast paced data entry position and excellent attention to detail. As the role is very fast paced you need to be able to communicate exceptionally well and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
If you have previous experience using Sage within a purchasing or supply chain environment this would be an advantage.
The company are offering a large range of benefits in addition to an annual salary of £22000- 24000 for this position.
