Supply Chain Coordinator
Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon -Fri

Location: Tonbridge (free parking), hybrid working available once training complete
£11.80- £12.50 per hour dependant on experience
Permanent salary £23,000- £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience
A leading insurance company in Tonbridge are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Home Emergency Department. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to turn into a permanent position for the successful candidate.
You will be working in their stunning newly refurbished head offices in Tonbridge (with free parking and gym onsite), and once up to speed with the role, hybrid working will be available.
Please note - you must be a driver for this position due to the nature of duties involved.
Ideally you will have come from supply chain/logistics background or experience with managing business to business (B2B) suppliers, along with strong organisational skills. You do not need any previous Insurance or Property Management/Housing experience.
Typical duties include:
" Provide administration support to the Supply Chain Manager and wider Surveying team
" Identify current weakness/gaps with current services and sourcing suitable suppliers to help resolve any issues
" Negotiate fees and rates with new suppliers
" Attend meetings and assist with the setup of new suppliers
" Monitor performance of existing suppliers and generate reports to display KPIs
" Maintain supplier information on all systems
" Investigate customer complaints that may arise related to external contractors/suppliers
