My Woking based client is seeking a Support Services Maintenance Manager to Plan, oversee and monitor the production, maintenance and repair of targetry in preparation for major competition and general shooting. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience and be confident in leading and directing a team of 12.

Other duties would include -

· Plan and direct the deployment, installation, recovery and maintenance of non-permanent range furniture, targetry and target infrastructure.

· Ensure the correct preparation of ranges for competition in accordance with relevant Task Sheets.

· Plan and oversee the provision of responsive support to daily shooting and competition to Range Control and Shooter Reception.

· Provide resources and expertise in support of target trials.

· Produce, maintain and implement a detailed Range Maintenance Plan regarding targetry and mechanisms

· Plan, implement and oversee the maintenance and management of electronic targetry utilising the built in diagnostic system.

· Ensure that the electronic targetry is commissioned and operational daily.

· Plan target procurement through monitoring target usage and stock check - consistently maintaining the agreed minimum holding

· Ensure compliance with safety policy and all relevant Health and Safety regulations

· Complete Health and Safety and COSHH risk assessments.

· Identify staff core competency requirement and liaise with Range Services admin to secure training.

· Maintain a training matrix, training records and training documents.

Produce staff rota and work schedules in accordance with Range Services policy
