Job Description
BS Social Care in Hammersmith are looking for a range of committed, enthusiastic residential children support workers who can match our passion for delivering a safe service for our client. The candidate must have experience providing care and support to vulnerable children with Mental Health, Emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours in a registered Ofsted setting.

You will be supporting the needs of the individuals of the young people taking account of race, language, religion, sexuality and culture. Talking and listening to young people, monitoring their behaviour and recording significant features. Identify and implement boundaries necessary to modify unacceptable behaviour of young people. It is important to be able to signs of distress or abuse and to ensure that the children are monitored and protected.
Minimum 12 months care experience within 2 years. DBS checks will be required unless you already have a DBS on the update service.
You can expect to receive a wage no lower than £9.00 p/h depending on experience, with the potential of the wage moving up over time.
The role will be offered to you on a temporary basis, so your flexibility and availability is crucial. Availability for you to do occasional waking nights will also be required.
