BS Social Care in Hammersmith are looking for a range of committed, enthusiastic residential children support workers who can match our passion for delivering a safe service for our client. The candidate must have experience providing care and support to vulnerable children and young adults with Mental Health, Emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours in a registered Ofsted setting.
Our client has new and exciting opportunities for support workers looking to work with children.
You will be supporting the needs of young people taking account of race, language, religion, sexuality and culture. Talking and listening to young people, monitoring their behaviour and recording significant features. Identify and implement boundaries necessary to modify unacceptable behaviour of young people. It is important to be able to signs of distress or abuse and to ensure that the children are monitored and protected.
Minimum 12 months care experience within 2 years. DBS checks will be required unless you already have a DBS on the update service.
You can expect to receive a wage no lower than £9.00 p/h
The role will be offered to you on a temporary basis, so your flexibility and availability is crucial.
Availability for you to do occasional optional waking nights shifts
