Job Description

BS Social care are working alongside a renowned national health and social care provider to source experienced support workers to work in services in both a Newton Aycliffe and/or a Spennymoor service. You will be working with residents who have a range of complex needs and your experience will show that you're accustomed to have done this before or have the transferable skills to be able to join the team.

The right candidates will have had support worker experience in the past along working in a similar setting. Crossover experience will, of course, be considered.

You will be expected to assist the manager in the day-to-day running of the site ensuring the residents live happily in a safe and secure environment. You will assist the residents in any goals or ambitions they wish to achieve. You will be expected to escort them out into the community to activities and day centres or any educational or employment they may want to access.

Different shift patterns are worked through the day and you will have access to the training and benefits of a very large organisations with sites across the region and country. Career development and progression is encouraged.
