Residential Support Worker

Pay Rate: £10.43 per hour (Waking Nights)

63 bedded apartments for the elderly aged 50+ offering Residential Care facilities, who have care and support needs and are no longer able to live unaided in their own homes. Every tenant has their own flat will onsite access to shared facilities, dining, activities and 24/7 emergency help. This residential care is aimed to support older people who need some sort of support but can live safely and independently as much as possible.

Full Induction Training will be provided however qualification in Social Care is desirable but some experience of working in a similar setting is essential. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Roles & Responsibilities
" Communicate easily with clients and build a relationship
" Friendly and approachable will assist in building strong relationships with other care workers as well as client's families
" Assisting clients with their care needs, washing and dressing them, helping to administer them with basic care and ensuring that standards of hygiene are adhered to.
" Assist in improving the quality of a client's life by helping them with tasks both inside and outside of the home.
" Assist with bed-making, cooking, cleaning etc
