Job Description

We are looking for support workers who can demonstrate their potential to develop into specialised community based enabling support workers in the field of vulnerable people with severe complex needs.

Our client greatest skills are that they are great listeners, by carefully listening they truly understand why each of us `do what we do`, the issues, challenges, hopes and dreams of those we serve, from this precious information we can tailor a bespoke plan for every individual that will truly enable them to realise those goals, aims and aspirations. We bring together a multi-disciplinary team for every individual that we serve, these teams include experts and therapists with the range of skills to help and support everyone, this is of huge importance if individuals have complex mental health conditions, learning disabilities, personality and behavioural disorders.

You will be required to:
> Work from planned rotas, including sleeping-in support shifts as required
> Provide, as a member of a team, 24-hour personal care and holistic enabling support Develop the daily living skills of the people we serve to gain greater personal independence Follow all support, policy, process and regulatory guidelines at all times.
> Communicate effectively using the tools and reporting process appropriately
> Attend and participate in; team meetings, required e-knowledge, local and central training putting learning into daily practice
> Be adaptable to meet the changing needs of the role
> Consistently delivering each person's support and risk management plans

Requirements
> Previous experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs
> Relevant training and qualifications within a social care setting MAPA trained
> Knowledge of Vision, Mission and Values of company
> Car driver with full clean driving license
