Care Support Worker

BS Social Care are currently working with a large organisation that provides supported living services to people on all levels of the autistic spectrum. We are on the lookout for support workers to come and join the team to help improve the lives of the residents living in the services.

While in the home you`ll provide various levels of support to the clients in their own home in a variety of ways, based on their individual circumstances. You`ll be involved with meal preparation, shopping and light domestic duties. You`ll get to know the residents you`re supporting and understand exactly what they need and want, helping them achieve things they wouldn't`t be able to do themselves. By listening and understanding, you`ll treat all of the residents with dignity, patience and compassion, developing relationships based on trust and reassurance.

Ideal candidates for this role must have minimum 12 months experience within a care setting, preferably working with Autism. References for minimum of the last 2 years of employment.
