Job Description

Are you interested in a career within Social Care? Whether you have years of experience or want to get your foot in the door, we have great opportunities in the Swillington area within a supported living service for two adults.

My client are looking for support workers to work alongside a highly skilled staff team to provide support to adults with learning disabilities and improve their quality of life.

As a Support worker, you would work under the direction of the senior support team to ensure that adults under your care are receiving the highest quality assistance in order for them to live happy and healthy lives.

Your main aim as a support worker is to treat all residents with respect and dignity. Some of the adults in the home have very complex learning disabilities, meaning this is a hands on care role that will require you to undertake personal care training. This company will provide 100% of your training at no cost to you, that will provide you with a variety of key care skills that kick-start your career in healthcare. So if you`re looking for an organisation who`ll help you to take your first step in a new job and support you the rest of the way, look no further.

Additionally, you will be expected on occasion to take the residents out of the home and into the community to do activities such as horse-riding and swimming, so candidates who enjoy these activities are encouraged to apply.

I currently have two positions available. 1 x 20 hour contract and 1 x 30 hour contract so don`t delay in applying.

The pay rate is £8.45 per hour - no sleep overs at this service.
You must have a full driving license!

If you are interested, simply click "APPLY" or call Kirsty May on 0113 2154312 to find out more!
