Support workers required for a large learning disability organisation based in Hertfordshire!

Our client is a specialist in supporting individuals with high level learning disabilities and behaviour that challenges. As a learning disability support worker- your main role will be to give emotional and physical support to vulnerable residents within the service. You will help the service users to connect in group activities and involve them in the community watching their health and security.

We are looking for a person who attends the needs of the service users to be confident, able to work with learning disability and challenging behaviour. You must be articulate and be able to engage with young people in activities and more. You must be a patient and caring support workers who can work closely with each service user, their family and carers to recognise and work towards the goals that are essential to them and build independent living skill. Encouraging service users to be involved in decisions about their live and providing emotional and physical support to adults and young people with learning disabilities

In order to apply for this role;
-You must be flexible including evenings and weekends to meet each service users needs
-Minimum of one year experience as well as a caring nature and a commitment to make a positive change in people's lives


The ideal candidate must have the following-

**DBS check if not on the update service
**Minimum of two years reference
