Support worker required for a Young people service in Hertfordshire!

BS Social care is looking for a Support worker for a service who works with young people and care leavers who need assistance for extra support. This service is looking for an enthusiastic support worker who can encourage young people to live an independent life where they can take control of their lives. They work in the heart of the community and their main focus is preventing suicide amongst adolescents. As well as one to one support they offer a range of helpful projects within the service to support each individual.

Your role will consist of supporting young people with mental health needs, drug or alcohol issues or have offended in the past. Encouraging them to live a full life and engage with the community and feel safe. You will be required to provide and show emotional support and care to their highest standard. You must ensure safeguarding, respect and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate must have the following-
**Eligible to work
**DBS check if not on the update service
**Minimum of two years reference
