Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to work as a support worker for their well established care home. They provide services for adults with learning disabilities and are looking for a dedicated and passionate support worker to join their team.

Your role will involve working with people to help them develop their independence and will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with adults on a day to day basis to promote their independence and ensure that they have fun while staying safe.

What you will need to succeed-

To be considered for this Support Work role, you will need to have experience working with adults with Learning disabilities. You will also need either access to your own car or be able to travel flexibly on public transport. You will need to be empathetic and tolerant.You will need to have a genuine desire to provide meaningful, considered support and the ability to thrive in a person centred environment.


You must also be willing to go through our recruitment process which starts with an in-branch registration during which time we do a medical checklist, full employment history, sending references and getting you put onto our online training programme. Once all of the paperwork is back (references and training), then we can put you out to work immediately!

Our pay rates vary depending on experience and depending on which clients you work with but generally start at circa £9 and go up to circa £10 per hour. Benefits include holiday accrual based on your hours worked amongst others.
