Support Worker required for a Day centre - Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs

Temp-ongoing shifts based in North London!

BS Social Care is the leading global specialist recruitment company and the market leader in the UK. We are currently working with various large care providers who have services across North London to take on Support Workers for long term shift work.

We are currently looking for various Day staff Support Workers to join our team of temporary workers for services across North London. We work with both long term roles and shift work including week days and weekend work in Residential, Supported Living and Independent living services.

We are looking for a person who attends the needs of the service users to be confident, able to work with learning disability, challenging behaviour and complex care needs. You must be articulate and be able to engage with young people in activities and more.

You must be a patient and caring support workers who can work closely with each service user, their family and carers to recognise and work towards the goals that are essential to them and build independent living skill. Encouraging service users to be involved in decisions about their live and providing emotional and physical support to adults and young people with learning disabilities

In order to register with us, you must meet our minimum criteria which is a minimum of recent 12 months social care experience OR recent 6 months social care experience combined with a social care qualification such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or similar.

Our pay rates vary depending on experience and depending on which clients you work with but generally start at circa £9 and go up to circa £10 per hour. Benefits include holiday accrual based on your hours worked amongst others.
