I am currently recruiting a number of Support Workers that have experience working with children with Autism!!!

The home provides care for children with autism and learning disabilities and is based in Raynes Park, Greater London - SW20. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexible hours and to gain experience of working with children and young people with special needs in a caring environment.

The candidate will need to have the following responsibilities:

" Ensure the highest standards of care in relation to the children`s physical, behavioural and emotional needs
" Support young people to do their favourite things and try new activities at home and also outdoor activities
" Provide personal care to young people
" Take part in all required co-curricular activities including swimming and annual vacation
" Provide high quality, consistent care to young people
" The position involves working shifts and occasional sleep-ins.

Requirements:

" Some experience working with autistic and multiple learning disability children is preferable but we are open to applicants with little experience but strong motivation
" Ability to interact with a range of young people
" Ability to work as part of a team
" Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People/Residential Childcare is preferable
" Good written and spoken English

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.25 to £9.75 /hour

Location: Raynes Park, Greater London (Preferred)
