Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding new role working in a Residential Care environment?

We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join a 4 bed residential home for Adults with Learning Difficulties. You will be supporting service users both emotionally and practically to complete everyday tasks such as cleaning, cooking and social events. You will also be completing individual support plans and activities for service users, so it is important that you maintain accurate notes and records.

The ideal candidate will be flexible to work ad-hoc shifts when required and have a calming and understanding nature, as you will be working with adults that can at times have challenging behaviours.

As a requirement it is essential you have 2 years experience working with learning difficulties/challenging behaviours or mental health issues, or alternatively 6 months experience with an NVQ in Health and Social Care. It is also essential you are on the DBS update service and you must have a full UK driving license, with access to a vehicle.

The hourly rate offers a rewarding £8.43 plus holiday pay to accrue.
