Job Description

This organisation is well known for providing support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health support needs within the UK.

Here at BS Social Care we are looking for individuals with experience in the Health and Social Care to to join out team of ever growing Health and Social Care professionals.

For this role you will be providing support to two residents with learning disabilities within a residential setting. Your duties will include; general support, going into the community, assisting with daily activities, enabling them to be more independent and dealing with some challenging behaviour. This position doesn't include and personal care or moving and handling.

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work in different locations, work various shift patterns and will be punctual, reliable, trustworthy and hard working.

You must have a proven recent background within health and social care or will have an NVQ or QCF Level 2 minimum along with the relevant recent experience in a similar role.

The pay rate for this role will be £8.00 per hour and the benefits will include; double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, flexible hours to suit you, reward and recognition, refer a friend scheme and the potential for a permanent job.
