*£8.50 - £9.00*
*Northampton, accessible by bus and car*

I am working with a well established care provider supporting their services in Northamptonshire. They are specialists in person centred, residential care. All of their services provide a comforting and safe, family feel home for all of their services, giving them the security they need.

This particular service currently have 6 service users however they do have a capacity for 8. All of their service users are 1-2-1 an one of them is on a 2-2-1 plan. Currently they have 2 non verbal service users who require quite hands on personal care. All of the service user their display challenging behaviour. You will be actively engaging with the service users, encouraging them to take part in activities, you`ll be prompting them as well as helping around the home with housekeeping such as cooking, laundry and cleaning.

You`ll have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental illness and challenging behaviour. You`ll ideally have a background working in a residential setting and working with adults from 18 years of age upwards. You`ll be supportive in nature, enthusiastic about engaging with service users and providing person centred care.

You will need a minimum of 12 months experience in care, ideally with a background in learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Restraint training is extremely beneficial.

A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is advantageous as well.

You will need to have an up to date DBS, registered to the online update service. If you don`t have this I can support you in getting one.

£8.50 - £9.00 an hour
Flexible working - the more availability you give me, the more work I can get you so good flexibility is ideal.
