Job Description

We are looking for a support worker who would be interested a full time role (37.5 hours a week). You will be based in Swinton and will be supporting service users with complex physical disabilities living in their own homes.

We are looking for a support workers that can develop warm and trusting relationships and encourage them to live the life they want! You will need to promote a happiness and enjoying the things they love!

Every day will be different so you could be supporting with social skills, personal care, living skills, managing money, leisure activities, hobbies, personal safety and coping skills. It will be very varied and extremely rewarding.

Our dream candidate would have experience in supporting or caring people with learning disabilities and complex needs (12 months experience if you do not have an NVQ Level 3 in health and social care). You must have a person centred approach and have excellent communication skills. You will also need a DBS on the update service or happy to apply for one. As you will be supporting with all aspects of their life you will need to be flexible to work days, nights, weekends and evening.
