A brand new opportunity has arisen for a support worker for a well established company with a fantastic reputation!

BS Social Care is one of the UK's leading recruitment specialist, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector.

The role of the support worker is to support service users who have no communication, have limited sight and hearing. They use facial expressions, behaviour patterns and body language as a form of communication. Your duties at the service will include cleaning, cooking, shopping and supporting with activities. Activities can include horse riding and swimming. The role may include some moving and handling and personal care. This role is on a temporary basis for waking nights starting as soon as possible!

The ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, consistent and flexible. You need to patient and understanding of the complex needs of the individuals you are supporting.

You will need a minimum of 1 years paid work experience in social care or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
