Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers for a residential service catering for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities based in Rickmansworth

As a support worker you will be responsible for all aspects of care and will support clients in line with their individual care plan. Your typical day would include; hand over, supporting the service users to get up, wash, dressed and get ready for day centre, shopping, activities or escorting to appointments. You will also be providing personal care and helping with meals. This role is very hands on due to the service users needing physical support with personal care and meals to ensure they have the best quality of life.

We are looking for candidates that have the right values and understanding of the needs of the service users you`re working with by building a professional relationship and being a friend as well as their carer. You will need to have at least 6 months experience working within a similar setting and you will be required to go through our registration process in which we will reference check you and carry out a DBS if you do not already have one on the update service. Drivers are ideal due to the location of the service.
