Job Description

Role: Support worker
Salary: £9.00 - £9.50 per hour
Location: Edgeware
Hours per week: Part time (Flexible)
Contract: Temporary

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated support workers to work with adults with learning difficulties and mental Health problems for one of our clients based in Edgware.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to use initiative
Good communication and writing skills
Able to understand care and support plans


To be considered to join our team of specialist staff we ask that you have:
Min Level 2 in Health and Social Care
First Aid training
Moving and positioning
Awareness of Mental Health, Personality disorders, Dual Diagnosis, Complex needs.
Safeguarding Adults
Minimum 1-year experience in Health and Social Care

The role involves:
Support service users with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication Daily living skills & Accessing the community on a rota basis.
Safeguarding service users' rights and dignity
Providing independence and social inclusion
Encouraging service users to be involved in decisions about their lives
