BS Social Care are recruiting for support workers to work adhoc shifts at a housing project for homelessness in Northampton town centre.

The service offers a transition from homelessness back into housing and supports service users in getting off the streets and maintaining a tenancy. Duties here include interacting with the service users, supporting with cleaning and cooking, dealing with any issues that may occur and supporting with key working where applicable. You will be confident in enforcing rules and boundaries and ensuring that the tenancy conditions within the hostel are abided by.

The shift times are 0800-2000, 1600-2000 or 2000-0800 (waking night).

For this role we are looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months experience as a support worker, experience in hostel support and in drug and alcohol. Knowledge of anti-social behaviour is also beneficial to the role. An enhanced DBS is required; however we can assist you in applying for this.

Pay rates are £8.21 to £8.70 per hour. Additional benefits include holiday pay and a pension scheme.
