Support Worker (AO) - Remote, PartTime (MOJ)


Location: Home based
Hours: Part time - 8 hours per week
Working Pattern: Remote, flexible schedule
Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role


This part?time Support Worker position involves providing remote administrative support to a single member of staff within the Ministry of Justice. You will work from home using MOJ provided equipment and support day to day administrative tasks, diary management, data handling, and system updates.
The role requires a high level of discretion and reliability, as you will be working with sensitive information and probation systems. CTC clearance is mandatory and must be fully approved before the role can commence.

Key Responsibilities


  • Remote Administrative Support - assisting a staff member with daily admin tasks via laptop.

  • System & Data Management - using DELIUS and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel) to update records, upload contacts, and manage spreadsheets.

  • Diary & Planning Support - helping organise schedules, planning tasks, and managing workflow.

  • Information Handling - working with sensitive data requiring discretion and compliance with security standards.

  • Flexible Work Pattern - schedule negotiable and ideally split across multiple days.

Essential Skills & Criteria


  • Strong administrative skills

  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel

  • Ability to work independently and remotely

  • High level of discretion and professionalism

  • Comfortable working with probation systems (training provided)

  • Ability to obtain CTC clearance
