Support Worker - Birmingham, UK

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to clients in their daily activities.
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene needs as required.
  • Encourage and promote independence and self-sufficiency among clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Document and report on client progress and any concerns to the management team.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a support worker role or similar position.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
