Do you enjoy making a difference to the lives of young people with learning disabilities?

Situated in Brighton, this renowned local charity provides an educational service for children and young people with learning disabilities.

You will be working in a residential setting which is home to the students. You will be expected to show initiative and support the young people. You will be expected to aid the development of the service users to ensure that they are able to grow their independence skills and support them with there homework. You will be approachable, calm and friendly with the ability to create a pleasant home environment for the young people. You will also have the ability to work with young people who can display complex and challenging behaviour.

We require a minimum of 1 years experience working in a similar setting or 6 months with a relevant qualification. A DBS on the update service for children & adults woodcraft is also required.
