Support Worker (Day Shifts and Sleep Ins) - Birmingham, UK

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, promoting independence.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and care plans.
  • Collaborate with health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their well-being.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
  • Support clients in achieving their personal goals and aspirations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care strategy discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a support worker or care role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3).
  • First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
