Support Worker - Female

Up to 40 hours a week available

Swansea

Up to £9ph + Holiday pay and Pension contribution

Here at BS Social Care we have spaces in an ongoing contract with a leading care provider in Swansea. Due to the needs of the services users female support workers are required.

Your role will be to help out excellent teams of staff while caring for adults with learning disabilities. This will involve taking them out into the community, helping them with every day activities such as cooking and cleaning and encourage them to live independently. This role may involve some personal care due to the varying needs of the service users.

Hours are available from Monday - Sunday. You can have flexible hours to fit around your other commitments such as another job or education.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one year`s practical experience within the care sector. Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Having a form of control and restraint, deescalation techniques and experience with personal care.
