Job Description

We are looking for a support worker to provide care, support and guidance to adults with a Forensic background across south Manchester. You will be working on a full time basis which will include sleep in shifts.

You will be working for a company that have supported people in the north west for more than 35 years. They work with people to empower they to live the life they choose. You will be supporting people that have learning disabilities and/or mental health needs as well as a forensic background. You will support people across the south Manchester area to provide emotional support, helping them make good decisions, support with life skills and medication.

You will need to be happy to work with people that need support with living the life they want. You will need to be a positive influence and work in a non judgement way. Some of the people that you support may have drug and alcohol issues also. You will need to have worked with people in the past that may have mental health needs, forensic back ground or learning disabilities. You will need to be resilient and be able to cope with potentially challenging behaviour. You will want to have a job that will be extremely rewarding and you want to make a difference to these peoples life.

This is a full time role and you will need to flexible as to when you can work. You will be day shifts with between 1 to 2 sleep in shifts a week. You will need to be happy to work in Chorlton, Didsbury, Northernden, Wythenshawe and the surround area (Any travel will be paid).

The salary for this role would be £18169 - £18364 (This include one sleep in a week at £45 per sleep in).
