We are looking for 2 Full-Time, experienced Support workers for our client. They are a three bedded supported living service for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism based in Liversedge, West Yorkshire.

You will be supporting a service user with Learning Difficulties and Mental Health to enable independence and reduce risk of suicide. You will be protecting her from abuse and keeping her safe. You will be working with the services co-ordinator and learning difficulties team, including the Occupational Therapy and Mental Health team.

The shifts will vary between 07:00 - 20:00, 7 days a week. Shifts are often split between 07:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 20:00 or alternatively long days through part of the week.

Please note this is a temporary but on-going role with guaranteed full-time hours, so you must be able to prioritise this role over any other job commitments.

You will have a minimum of 1 years experience or alternatively 6 months experience with an NVQ Level 3 Qualification in a relevant area. You must also have Basic Life Support, Medication and Manual Handling training to be considered for the role.

We require our staff to have a DBS on the update service or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for an Enhanced DBS through Brook Street. It is also essential you have a Full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle. At the point of registration you must also be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK as well as 2 forms of ID, such as Drivers License, Passport or Long Birth Certificate.

The hourly rate will be a generous £9.53 - £10.95 with Holiday Pay to accrue.
