£8.50 p/h plus sleeps ins!

Are you looking for a new challenge and a rewarding career working with people with learning disabilities? Do you drive and have access to your own car? Can you work on a 24/7 shift pattern including sleep ins?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a support worker to work in the North Manchester area supporting service users in their own homes. This is a 20 hour post and will involve some sleep ins which are paid at a generous rate. You must be a driver and have access to your own car but apart from that if you are willing and have experience in the care sector we want to hear from you!

Daily duties will include supporting people with learning disabilities this could be someone with autism or non-verbal learning disabilities. They may need assisting with feeding, bathing, personal care or going on trips out! No two days will be the same and this is a challenging but rewarding career. You will be report writing and record keeping, some personal care may be involved also.

The person must be caring, compassionate, able to problem solve and effectively communicate even if the service user can't verbally communicate.
