Mental Health Support Worker

An exciting opportunity for you to become a Mental Health Support Worker in a leading and
well-established mental health organisation has come up. Your role is integra and you will play
part in assisting service users live independently in the community as well as assess their emotional needs. You will be supporting Adults who have mental health illness such as, schizophrenia who may display verbal challenging behaviour but at times may have outbursts.
The role will be on a rota basis with extra pay for sleep ins.


Main Job Role:
- Support them with everyday duties i.e. preparing meals, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Active service users who like to get out and about. They go on day trips, shopping trips, visiting families etc
- Support them out in the community and on health appointments / visits
- When service users are unwell, you may need to help them with personal care
