Are you seeking a new temporary opportunity to support adults with mental health issues?
Working on behalf of BS Social Care we provide staffing solutions for our customers across Lancashire for temporary and permanent roles. Working for one of our valued national clients we have an opportunity for a Support Worker to work on a temporary basis full time up to March 2022.
As a Mental health Support worker you will be mainly working from home, and key duties will include being able to talk to people and support them to move forward and escalate situations. These are people in crisis who may have self harm tendencies, suicidal thoughts or any kind of adult mental health. You will be assigned a case load of 15 people, and will be expected to do 3 visits per day and the remaining expectations will be to keep in contact with them to offer the required support and updating records and liaising with the clinical team from who they have been referred by.
You will have experience of working with people with mental health conditions, and be able to communicate well, be adaptable to different techniques with training providers, and be computer literate.
Ideally you will hold demonstrable experience of working across the mental health sector, and be willing to work on a flexible basis.
We offer a competitive salary plus benefits including holiday entitlement, expenses, mobile phone and laptop for this opportunity. Driver will be essential. All PPE provided.
