Mental Health Support Worker - £10 an hour

Would you like to be a trustworthy friend for Young People?

Our service in Cheltenham provides a home for twelve to fourteen 16- to 21-year-old who have found themselves homeless. We are looking for people who have worked with youths before. You will be the responsible adult to listen to them and support them in their daily lives. Duties include showing youths how to cope with everyday activities and basic life skills such as cooking, helping with CVs, accession services via the internet and creating a safe and therapeutic home environment.

Its essential you have a background and 6 months experience and are ideally looking for a couple of shifts a week, if so, we would love to hear from you.

You will need to be a patient person with a bit of grit as the service users can be challenging at times, we also look for someone who has a genuine passion for helping people achieve the best for themselves.
