Job Description

We have a new position for an experienced Support Worker within a Mother and Baby care centre in Northampton.

The centre provides care for Mothers and their babies who are often vulnerable and may have complex emotional and health needs. You will work closely with a range of professionals and as part of a team to offer the best positive outcomes for the mothers and babies.

You will be a role model for the Mothers, showing and encouraging safe and supportive parenting, helping them to look after themselves and their baby.

Both day and night shifts are available
0800 - 2000 / 2000 - 0800

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years within a social care setting and previous experience of working with babies or young children.

This opportunity is perfect for working full time hours on your own terms, topping up your rota up with extra shifts or working alongside your education. Or perhaps you're looking to step out of a care management position and get back on the ground and support young people, with the flexibility to work your rota around your commitments.

We are looking for staff with the following
" 1+ years experience within a children's care environment
" Driving licence (Essential)
" Enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
" Committed and driven personality
